Captain Marr is a volunteer Captain and a paramedic. Don has been a member of the Charleston Fire District as a volunteer since January of 2012. Don also works for Bay Cities Ambulance and Lower Umpqua Ambulance as a paramedic assigned to an ambulance. Besides his service locally he spent several years oversees instructing Emergency Medical class abroad. Don works as an advisor to our EMS Coordinator besides responding to emergencies when available. Don has over 40 years of service to the Emergency Medical Service and started as a student Firefighter of Corvallis Fire Department in the late 1970's.
