Our Line Officers and Firefighters are comprised of Career Staff and Volunteers.
The Fire District celebrated 64 years of service in 2021 providing a quality service to the Charleston and Barview communities. The District provides service from three stations with 3 engines, 1 tender, 1 rescue, 1 Brush Truck, 2 command units and 4 utility vehicles.

Station 3 has been dedicated in the memory of Deputy Chief Malcolm Turkington for his over 40 year selfless spiritual and safety service to the Charleston Community.
Charleston Fire District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
