Married to Debbie Huff for 42 years. We have 5 children and 13 grandkids. I started EMS in Sept. 1985. I joined Charleston Fire in Feb. 1986. I started as a firefighter, then engineer, lieutenant, captain and then Battalion Chief. I am the EMS Coordinator for the department. I am a volunteer and 1 day a week paid. I spent 20 years with Bay Cities Ambulance and I have worked for Western Lane Ambulance and also Chemult Fire on their ambulance. I worked for Bay Area Hospital for 9 years. I taught the EMT classes at SWOCC for 25 years. I am still passionate about Fire & EMS service. My children have called me The Batman of Charleston because of all the calls over the years. My outside hobbies are hunting & fishing. I also enjoy time with family and going camping in our RV.
