My name is Chase Howerton and I am born and raised in Coos Bay Oregon. As a young kid I always looked up to people that were willing to put their lives on the line to serve their community. My interest in the fire service officially began at Marshfield High School where I got to take EMS and fire science classes through SOCC. After completing years of training and earning an Associates Degree in Fire Science, I was blessed with an opportunity to become a career firefighter. I enjoy many things in life including work and spending my free time in the outdoors.
